Jacqui Symons is a freelance artist and designer who has a long-standing fascination with colour – chromatic themes, fields and gradients of colour are often a central element in her work.

Her varied practice expands to include materials and methods that lend themselves to colour and she utilises printmaking, origami, digital arts, collage and stained glass to convey her love of this theme.

With a strong background in public, community and hospital arts, she also enjoys working with other people to help them develop their creativity and confidence. She works in a variety of different settings including hospitals, mental health units and centres, staff workshops, youth groups, children’s centres, schools and other community groups.
